Former South Carolina pitcher Alex Philpott joins FSU from transfer portal

Alex Philpott has announced his commitment to join the Florida State Seminoles from the transfer portal. Previously with South Carolina, Philpott has two years of eligibility remaining. He struggled in his last season with a 6.51 ERA over 27.2 innings, contributing three saves and experiencing limited success against FSU in past appearances. Florida State has also added other players from the portal this offseason.
