Barry Pearson, a former wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs, passed away on August 16 at the age of 76. He played for the Steelers from 1972 to 1973, participating in the iconic Immaculate Reception playoff game. Pearson later joined the Chiefs, leading the team in receiving yards in 1975. A knee injury in 1976 ended his playing career. After football, he worked as a wide receivers coach and later transitioned to a successful business career. He is survived by his wife, Linda, their children, and three grandchildren.
