Former Steelers QB Russell Wilson joins CBS as NFL analyst

Russell Wilson, the former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, has signed with CBS as their new NFL analyst, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Wilson's exact role is yet to be defined, but he is expected to fill the position previously held by Matt Ryan, who became the President of Football Operations with the Atlanta Falcons. Wilson had a brief stint with the Steelers in 2024, finishing his season as a starter with a 6-5 record and 16 touchdowns. He subsequently played for the New York Giants in 2025, where he did not achieve any wins as a starter. His new role at CBS marks a significant career transition following his playing days.
