Fortuna Düsseldorf has signed midfielder Philipp Förster to a one-year contract through June 2027. The 31-year-old joins the newly relegated side on a free transfer after making 27 appearances for Karlsruher SC last season, contributing four assists. Having previously played a key role with VfB Stuttgart and Bochum, Förster brings significant Bundesliga experience. His ability to operate in various attacking roles is expected to aid Düsseldorf in their bid for promotion back to the second tier. Förster will wear the No. 10 shirt for his new team.
