The 2026 NBA Summer League, running from July 9-19, features four former Iowa State basketball players: Keshon Gilbert (Atlanta Hawks), Joshua Jefferson (Brooklyn Nets), Curtis Jones (Boston Celtics), and Tamin Lipsey (Indiana Pacers). Each player looks to impress in the hopes of securing a spot on an NBA roster. Gilbert participates on a two-way contract, Jefferson was recently drafted 28th overall, Jones plays after a stint with the Denver Nuggets, and Lipsey signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Pacers. Summer League games commence today, with each team guaranteed four games.
