Four recruits with Alabama basketball offers could reclassify to 2027

Four basketball prospects currently in the 2028 recruiting cycle may move to the 2027 class, according to a report by On3. The list includes 5-star guard Colton Hiller, 5-star center Yann Kamagate, and 4-star forwards Isaiah Hamilton and Benji Berrouet, all of whom hold scholarship offers from Alabama. Hamilton, a 6-foot-6 wing at Montverde Academy, is a primary subject of the report regarding a potential shift in status. While other programs like Florida State, Villanova, Arkansas, Georgia, and Missouri have shown interest, Alabama established early recruitment ties with Hamilton in October 2025. This potential shift follows the recent reclassification of guard Anderson Diaz, who joined the Crimson Tide roster this summer. Alabama is scheduled to begin its upcoming season with an exhibition game against Ole Miss on Oct. 15 at the Boutwell Auditorium in Birmingham.
