The New York Red Bulls are facing significant player absences during the international break. Nikol Veratschnig suffered a ligament injury to his right knee while playing for Austria. Enrique Aguilar returned with a thigh injury from a U20 match, and Damir Redzic sustained a ligament injury to his right ankle during Hungary's Nations League game against Ukraine. Justin Omoregie, meanwhile, will be out until the new year after undergoing surgery for a severe ankle injury. All players are expected to miss several weeks or longer.
