Four-star small forward Howard Williams announced his commitment to Arizona State on September 7. The 6-foot-6 recruit from Dynamic Prep in Texas is ranked as the 45th overall player in the 2027 class. Williams chose the Sun Devils over TCU after also receiving offers from programs including Kentucky, Washington, and Oklahoma State. He joins Carson Crawford as the second four-star prospect to join the Sun Devils' 2027 recruiting class. This addition follows the recent arrival of head coach Randy Bennett, who spent the previous 25 years leading the program at Saint Mary’s. During his junior season at Overtime Elite, Williams averaged 13.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
