Four-star wide receiver Derrell Hines Jr. schedules Florida State gameday visit

Four-star wide receiver Derrell Hines Jr. has scheduled a gameday visit to Florida State for the Nov. 21 game against NC State at Doak Campbell Stadium. The Tampa-based recruit previously visited the campus for a spring practice in April and a camp in May. Ranked as the No. 96 overall player in the 2028 class by 247Sports, the 6-foot-1, 170-pound prospect is also considering visits to Miami, Florida, Texas, Nebraska, Alabama, and Syracuse. Florida State has been recruiting Hines since 2025 as the program looks to build on its 2028 recruiting class. The Seminoles currently hold commitments from Chayse Brown and Troy Silberzahn. This upcoming trip marks the first time Hines will observe the team in an actual game setting.
