Frances Tiafoe has officially withdrawn from the mixed doubles event at the U.S. Open due to an ongoing wrist injury. Tiafoe and partner Leylah Fernandez were set to compete against Aryna Sabalenka and Novak Djokovic on August 25. Recently, Tiafoe has struggled with a wrist condition, including surgery for a cyst prior to his participation in recent tournaments. Although he will not compete in doubles, Tiafoe remains entered in the singles draw at the U.S. Open, where he reached the semifinals in 2022 and 2024.
