Francisco Lindor and Tyrone Taylor are set to begin their rehab assignments with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies on Friday. Lindor, sidelined since April 23 due to a calf strain, has impacted the Mets’ lineup significantly. Up to this point in the season, Lindor was hitting.226/.314/.355. Taylor has also been injured, missing time with a hip flexor injury since May 26 while posting a.186/.210/.320 batting line.
