Franck Kessie returns to Atalanta after turning down Juventus offer

Franck Kessie has officially rejoined Atalanta on a free transfer following the conclusion of his time in Saudi Arabia. The 29-year-old midfielder, who previously played for the club as a teenager, stated that he turned down interest from Juventus to facilitate a return to Bergamo. Kessie spent the last three years playing in Saudi Arabia after stints with Barcelona and Milan. During his introductory press conference on Monday, he emphasized his connection to the city and expressed his intention to help the club compete for the Scudetto, the Coppa Italia, and the Europa League. He is now training under manager Maurizio Sarri.
