Franco Mastantuono scores hat-trick to lead Fiorentina past Venezia

Real Madrid loanee Franco Mastantuono scored three goals to lead Fiorentina to a 4-2 win against Venezia on Friday. After an early deficit, the 19-year-old attacker leveled the match with a left-footed strike from the edge of the penalty area. He added a second goal less than two minutes later, eventually completing his hat-trick to secure the result. The Argentine international joined the Serie A club on loan for the 2026/27 season following a debut campaign in Spain. This performance marks a significant shift for the player, who previously saw Fiorentina drop three consecutive league matches to begin the term. The win provides the team with their first points of the current campaign.
