Frank Bruno distributes free footballs to local parks for youth initiative

Former WBC heavyweight champion Frank Bruno has distributed footballs to public parks in Essex and Bedfordshire to encourage outdoor exercise among children. The initiative, run by the non-profit organization Found Football, involves leaving equipment in public spaces for community use without barriers to entry. Ritchie Beckett, director of the project, stated that the organization aims to promote physical activity by providing frictionless access to sports gear. Bruno supported the effort as a way to engage youth in constructive activities within their local areas. Found Football previously completed a distribution of 100 balls in Stockport and plans to provide an additional 100 to locations in Essex by the end of September. The movement has also received support from former Premier League player Danny Pugh and former Lioness Amanda Barr.
