Frankie Kazarian discusses friendship with AJ Styles after retirement

In an interview on "Talk Is Jericho," Kazarian reflected on their over 20-year relationship, citing their time together in TNA Wrestling and the indie circuit. He expressed happiness for Styles' accomplishments, particularly during his decade in WWE. Kazarian noted that he was among the first to hear of Styles' retirement plans last year and mentioned that they had reunited at the AMC debut of "Thursday Night Impact" in January 2026. Although Styles expressed a desire for a farewell match against Kazarian, it did not come to fruition. The two did appear together during Styles' career celebration on "WWE Raw."
