Fraser Minten signs seven-year contract extension with the Boston Bruins

Forward Fraser Minten signed a seven-year, $50.4 million contract extension with the Boston Bruins. The deal follows a 2025-26 season where Minten recorded 17 goals and 18 assists in his first full campaign with the organization. Minten originally entered the NHL with the Toronto Maple Leafs after being selected in the 2022 NHL Draft. He was traded to Boston in March 2025 as part of a package for defenseman Brandon Carlo. Since joining the Bruins, Minten has appeared in 107 career NHL games, tallying 20 goals and 20 assists total. Bruins general manager Don Sweeney cited the player's two-way game and continued growth as primary drivers for the long-term commitment.
