Fred criticizes Erik ten Hag's management style at Manchester United

Former Manchester United midfielder Fred has openly criticized Erik ten Hag’s approach to squad management during his tenure, asserting that the coach favored Dutch players and had conflicts with senior figures such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Casemiro. During an appearance on the Charla Podcast, Fred acknowledged Ten Hag's tactical knowledge but described his man-management as inadequate. Fred spent five seasons at United, where he experienced contrasting coaching styles under Ten Hag, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and José Mourinho. He left the club in 2023 after a season that included a League Cup win before transferring to Fenerbahce. Ten Hag was dismissed in 2024 following a poor start to the season, further complicating United's recent history with coaching changes.
