Fred Warner discusses 49ers' Super Bowl opportunities heading into 2026 season
Summary

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner expressed a realistic view on the team's Super Bowl aspirations during an appearance on KNBR. Entering his ninth season, Warner emphasized the urgency of capitalizing on their current roster's potential, noting the limited time with this core group. Despite previous playoff disappointments, including losses in two Super Bowls and two NFC Championship Games since 2017, he believes that the team's culture and standards remain strong. With key players returning, including Deebo Samuel, the 49ers are motivated to make 2026 a success after falling short last season due to Warner's injury. The focus is clear: the goal is to win a Super Bowl.
