Freddy Peralta allows 10 runs in Mets' loss to Phillies

Summary

Freddy Peralta struggled in his start for the Mets on Saturday, allowing 10 earned runs over 2⅔ innings against the Phillies, leading to a 15-3 defeat at Citizens Bank Park. The loss marked another setback for the Mets, who fell to 34-42 on the season and squandered an opportunity to build on recent back-to-back victories. Peralta's performance highlighted issues in the Mets’ rotation, which has been inconsistent this season. Bryce Harper completed the cycle during the game, contributing significantly to the offensive onslaught.
