Four-star edge Frederick Ards III has committed to the Texas A&M Aggies for the 2027 recruiting class. The Orlando, Florida native chose Texas A&M over other SEC rivals including South Carolina, Florida, FSU, and Alabama. His commitment follows a strong junior season at Jones High School, where he recorded 80 tackles and 11 sacks. Ards is Texas A&M's second commitment this month after adding three-star linebacker Aston Whiteside. This addition strengthens the Aggies' position as they aim for a top recruiting class, now totaling 17 members.
