Free Palestine banner displayed over Patriots-Raiders game at Gillette Stadium

During the ongoing matchup between the New England Patriots and the Las Vegas Raiders at Gillette Stadium, a plane flew over the venue carrying a 'Free Palestine' banner. The display was organized by local residents who are protesting Patriots owner Robert Kraft's opposition to pro-Palestinian messaging. This incident follows controversy over Kraft’s decision to remove rapper Macklemore from Ed Sheeran’s tour after the artist made statements supporting Palestine. Reactions from fans have been mixed, with some supporting the message and others opposing political displays at sporting events. Kraft has faced scrutiny for his stance and has been challenged to contribute to humanitarian efforts in the region.
