Fresno State extends athletic director Garrett Klassy's contract by five years

Fresno State University athletic director Garrett Klassy has signed a five-year extension to remain with the Bulldogs, as reported by ESPN's Pete Thamel. Klassy, who has been with Fresno State since 2024, will receive a guaranteed salary of nearly $2.9 million, making it one of the largest deals for an athletic director outside the Power Four conferences. His tenure has included leading the school's transition to the PAC-12 and securing a historic sponsorship deal with The Wonderful Company. The university has not yet commented on this contract extension.
