Freya Jensen returns to Iowa State women's basketball for another season

Summary

Freya Jensen, a Danish guard, is set to return to the Iowa State women’s basketball team for the upcoming season. Jensen, who played limited minutes last year, is one of only three returning players on the roster. Having previously averaged 16.9 points per game for Aabyhoj IF in Denmark, she will take on a leadership role as newcomers adjust to the program. Coach Bill Fennelly's system incorporates many new transfers, suggesting Jensen may continue to focus on providing energy from the bench and supporting teammates.
