AJ Nessler, a former outfielder for Pitt, has committed to the Florida State baseball team. Nessler spent three seasons with the Panthers and one season with UCF before returning to Pitt for the past two years. He recently received a fifth year of eligibility after a California court ruling. In the 2026 season, Nessler hit.304 with 42 RBIs and a.490 slugging percentage. He is from Tampa, Florida and has a career batting average of.308.
