FSU Seminoles lead for top 100 safety Leland Walker ahead of visit

The Florida State Seminoles are identified as the "perceived leader" for four-star safety Leland Walker. Walker, a top 100 recruit for 2029, is scheduled to visit FSU on August 29 during their season opener against New Mexico State. Although FSU has yet to extend a scholarship offer, recruiting expert Benjamin Wolk suggests the Seminoles have an advantage over competing programs. Walker, ranked as the No. 54 overall player and No. 6 safety by 247Sports, holds 15 scholarship offers, including prominent schools such as Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Notre Dame. His stellar freshman year at Lithonia High School featured significant defensive stats, including 51 tackles and three interceptions returned for touchdowns.
