FSU Seminoles receive votes in preseason Coaches Poll

The Florida State Seminoles received 12 votes in the preseason US LBM Coaches Poll, ranking them 40th overall and outside the top 25. The team, which has not finished ranked in the past two seasons, faces significant challenges in the upcoming season, including four games against top 25 opponents. FSU will host the SMU Mustangs in Week 1 and will also play the Alabama Crimson Tide, Miami Hurricanes, and Clemson Tigers soon after.
