FSU Seminoles rise in recruiting rankings after Ta'Shawn Poole's commitment

The Florida State Seminoles have improved their recruiting position with the commitment of four-star safety Ta'Shawn Poole, who recently chose FSU over SEC rivals Georgia and Tennessee. Poole, ranked as the No. 64 overall player and No. 6 safety in the 247Sports composite rankings, fits well in FSU's 3-3-5 defense and is expected to contribute immediately. With this addition, the Seminoles have a total of 16 commitments and currently hold the 40th-best recruiting class nationally. This week, they also secured commitments from fellow recruits Za'Kari Johnson and kicker Vance Fones.
