Fulham negotiates to sign Shea Charles from Southampton for £25 million

Summary

Fulham is in advanced talks to sign Southampton midfielder Shea Charles for £25 million. The 22-year-old has become a priority for Fulham as they aim to strengthen their squad under new head coach Alvaro Arbeloa. Recent reports suggest Fulham's negotiations have progressed positively, positioning them ahead of Leeds United, who previously had bids rejected. Charles, who scored six goals and provided two assists in the Championship last season, aligns with the club's strategy for young, versatile talent. If successful, this deal would mark a significant addition to Fulham's roster this summer.
