Fulham targets Real Madrid's Thiago Pitarch for potential transfer

Fulham is pursuing Thiago Pitarch following signings of Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios from Real Madrid. Alvaro Arbeloa leads Fulham's recruitment strategy, with negotiations for Pitarch reportedly progressing slowly due to his recent knee injury. Despite the slower pace, the player is open to reuniting with Arbeloa, as discussions with his representatives have already occurred. Real Madrid sees Pitarch as primarily part of their Castilla team under Jose Mourinho, raising the possibility of a transfer for more senior playing time.
