A celebration of life for Stacey King, a three-time NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls, was held Thursday in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. King, who died earlier this month at 59, was remembered by friends, family, and former teammates for his larger-than-life personality and passion for basketball. Former Bulls center Bill Cartwright and broadcaster Adam Amin were among those who spoke about King’s impact both on and off the court. The Chicago Bulls announced a memorial service is planned for later this month at the Advocate Center for invited guests only.
