Gabe Jacas absent from Patriots OTA practices due to injury concerns

New England Patriots rookie Gabe Jacas has yet to participate in OTA practices, with his absence attributed to an injury. The second-round pick, who has not signed his rookie contract, has drawn attention amidst other notable absences, including Kayshon Boutte and Christian Gonzalez. ESPN's Mike Reiss indicated that while many suspect a contract dispute, he believes the injury is the main reason for Jacas's absence, adding that a return appears imminent. Mandatory minicamp begins on June 15, and Jacas's situation will be closely monitored.
