Gabriel Arbuet wins Delaware Online boys soccer player of the year poll

Appoquinimink’s Gabriel Arbuet secured the most votes in the Delaware Online Preseason Boys Soccer Player of the Year poll. The recognition follows his inclusion on the All-State Top XI team during the previous fall season. Arbuet finished at the top of an online ballot that included two other nominees. The poll was presented by Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists. Preseason polling for fall athletes continues next week with cross-country runners. Nominations for those sports will be released Monday, Sept. 7, with voting windows scheduled to run through the following Thursday.
