Gabriel Gudmundsson makes his first start for Leeds United in Brighton draw

Gabriel Gudmundsson returned to the Leeds United starting lineup in a 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion. Jayden Bogle scored the opening goal for Leeds United in the first half, but Brighton & Hove Albion leveled the match after the break to secure a point. This appearance marked the first start of the season for the Swedish international, who had been sidelined due to an injury-hit start to the campaign. Gudmundsson completed the full 90 minutes and credited the Thorp Arch medical staff for his rehabilitation progress. The defender expressed satisfaction with the result, noting that the team displayed resilience against a difficult opponent. He intends to focus on maintaining his physical condition and regaining his match rhythm in the upcoming weeks.
