Gabriel Hughes starting for Rockies against Padres' Kyle Hart today

The Colorado Rockies face the San Diego Padres today at Coors Field, starting at 2:10 PM MDT. Gabriel Hughes, with a record of 0-2 and a 2.79 ERA, aims for his first career win after a strong showing in his previous start. The Rockies come off a loss where poor defense and pitching allowed six walks and four errors. Kyle Hart, who has been primarily a reliever this season with a 5.21 ERA, will pitch for the Padres. This matchup aims to split the series as the Rockies look to rebound from their recent defeat.
