Jesus stated that winning the trophy is a primary objective for his career. Currently acting as a backup striker behind Raphinha, who has transitioned from the wing to a central role, Jesus maintains he is fully fit following previous injury concerns. Over eight seasons in the tournament, he has recorded 26 goals and 8 assists in 57 appearances. FC Barcelona has not secured a Champions League title in 11 years and holds five total championships in team history.
