Gabriel Magalhaes and Bruno Guimaraes join Brazil squad for international break

Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti selected Arsenal players Gabriel Magalhaes and Bruno Guimaraes for the upcoming international break. The roster excludes former Arsenal players Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli, who moved to FC Barcelona and Al Hilal respectively this summer. Ancelotti aims to refresh the national team by integrating younger talent, granting first-time call-ups to seven players including Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho, Breno Bidon, Arthur Dias, Pedro Morisco, Otavio, and Gabriel Bontempo. Although the international break is extended, Brazil has no competitive fixtures scheduled. The team will instead play three friendly matches to evaluate the squad depth before returning to formal competition. These friendlies include two games against Australia on September 25 and September 29, followed by a match against India on October 3.
