Galo youth players deliver hygiene supplies to homeless in Belo Horizonte

On September 22, Atlético’s youth academy teams participated in the Banho de Amor initiative at Praça da Estação. Thirty players from the U-14, U-15, and U-17 squads donated around 3,000 bars of soap to aid the homeless. This effort, organized by the academy’s Player Care Department, involved collecting donations over three months. Despite unfavorable weather, the young athletes promoted hygiene and well-being for the recipients. The mascot Galo Doido also contributed by distributing backpacks to individuals in need.
