GameTimePA opens voting for weekly SCAC athlete honors

GameTimePA has launched three separate polls to determine the Smith Village SCAC athletes of the week for the period of Aug. 24-29. Readers may vote online for boys and girls athletes as well as the Week 1 football player. Nominees for the boys athlete category include cross country, golf, and soccer participants, while the girls category features athletes from golf, volleyball, soccer, and field hockey. The football poll highlights individual performances from the first week of the season. All voting remains open until noon on Thursday, Sept. 3, and results will be announced via social media. These weekly polls are presented by Smith Village Home Furnishings to recognize high school sports achievements within the South Central Athletic Conference.
