Gardner Minshew ranked 14th among NFL backup quarterbacks

Gardner Minshew is ranked No. 14 among backup quarterbacks in the NFL, according to SI.com's Gilbert Manzano. The Arizona Cardinals made significant offseason changes, including signing Minshew after releasing Kyler Murray. Minshew, who has 47 career starts including recent experience with the Kansas City Chiefs, is positioned as the expected QB2 behind Jacoby Brissett, who is currently holding out for a new contract. With Brissett's status uncertain, Minshew, who has taken all first-team reps, may need to take on a larger role this season. His recent performance has been mixed, but his experience is highlighted as an advantage over rookie Carson Beck.
