Garrett Mitchell leaves game with forearm contusion against Braves

Garrett Mitchell of the Milwaukee Brewers left the game against the Atlanta Braves after being hit in the right forearm by a pitch during the fourth inning. The Brewers lost 4-2, and Mitchell later underwent X-rays which returned negative results. He was able to run the bases but did not return to play defense. The team remains in a strong position in the National League Central, holding a six-game lead over the Chicago Cubs. Milwaukee will travel to play a series against the New York Mets next.
