Gary Neville supports Chelsea's pursuit of veteran Premier League players

Gary Neville has endorsed Chelsea’s strategy to recruit experienced players, focusing on Danny Welbeck and Jordan Henderson. The club is pursuing Welbeck, who is set for a medical ahead of a two-year contract, marking their first transfer fee for a player over 26 since 2022. Henderson, following his exit from Brentford by mutual consent, is seen as a potential leader for the squad. Neville highlights the need for experienced professionals to guide the younger players at Chelsea, particularly after a challenging last season.
