Gary Van Atta leads 2026 Trevecca Sports Hall of Fame class

Gary Van Atta, the winningest coach in Trevecca women's basketball history, heads the 2026 class for the Trevecca Athletic Hall of Fame. He guided the women's team to the NAIA national tournament for 11 consecutive seasons and reached the national championship game in 2008. Joining him are twin brothers Sam and Steve Harris, with Sam being the winningest coach in Trevecca men's basketball history and Steve having served in various roles over 39 years. The induction ceremony is scheduled for Nov. 6-7 during Trevecca's Homecoming Weekend.
