Pierre Gasly, driving for Alpine, has been given a three-place grid penalty for the upcoming British Grand Prix at Silverstone. After qualifying in P12, the penalty demotes him to P15 due to an incident during Q1 where he impeded Aston Martin's Lance Stroll. Gasly's slow speed on the racing line during Stroll's timed lap led to the ruling by stewards. Gasly will start from P15, which promotes drivers like Nico Hulkenberg to P12, Ollie Bearman to P13, and Carlos Sainz to P14.
