Gateshead sign defender Harrison Holgate and forward Jordy Hiwula

Gateshead added two players to the squad on September 4, signing defender Harrison Holgate and forward Jordy Hiwula to contracts lasting through the end of the season. Holgate, 26, arrives as a free agent following his tenure at Fleetwood Town, where he made over 100 appearances throughout his career. Hiwula, 31, joins the club after previously playing for National League side Boston United, where he recorded seven goals in 39 appearances during the prior season. Both players are now active on the team roster and satisfy eligibility requirements for upcoming matches.
