Gateshead sign forward Freddie Issaka on loan from Plymouth Argyle

Gateshead completed the signing of forward Freddie Issaka on a loan deal from League One club Plymouth Argyle. The 20-year-old will remain with the National League side until January. Issaka holds the distinction of being the youngest player to debut for Plymouth Argyle, having made his first appearance at age 15 in 2021. He previously gained experience through loan spells with Bristol Rovers and Truro City. His time at Bristol Rovers included eight substitute appearances in League One, followed by 14 matches for Truro City in the National League last season. The move provides additional playing time for the forward during his temporary stint away from his parent club.
