Gavin Stone begins rehab assignment with Dodgers' Triple-A team
Summary

Gavin Stone, the Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher, starts his rehab assignment on Thursday with Triple-A Oklahoma City after nearly two years away from the professional game. He was sidelined in September 2024 due to a shoulder injury and underwent reconstruction surgery, missing the entire 2025 season. Stone's return to the MLB roster faces challenges due to the Dodgers' strengthened pitching staff, which includes players like Tarik Skubal and Yoshinobu Yamamoto. If injuries persist, he could get an opportunity in the rotation or bullpen. Bobby Miller also commenced his rehab assignment on the same day, returning from his shoulder injury.
