Gavin Stone makes progress in rehab with Dodgers Triple-A team

Gavin Stone is continuing his rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City, allowing two runs in 4 2/3 innings across two starts. He has struck out eight batters, including five in a three-inning outing on August 10. The pitcher is looking to return following major shoulder surgery that sidelined him for nearly two years. Manager Dave Roberts indicated that while Stone may initially have a limited role, he is being built up for potential appearances later in the season. The Dodgers' pitching staff is also bolstered by the recent return of Blake Snell and the addition of Tarik Skubal.
