Summary

Cleveland Guardians pitcher Gavin Williams has liked a comment on Instagram suggesting a move to the Atlanta Braves. The comment, made by a fan joking about being on the phone with the Braves, followed Williams' post reflecting on the Guardians' recent loss to the Tampa Bay Rays in the ALCS. While speculation surrounds potential trades after the Guardians' postseason exit, Williams is under team control through 2029, making a move unlikely. With a strong performance this season, including a 2.16 ERA in the playoffs, the Guardians are expected to seek an extension for Williams.
