Gelof and Butler power A's past Rangers in 5-2 victory

Zack Gelof and Lawrence Butler each hit two-run homers to lead the Athletics to a 5-2 win against the Texas Rangers on Sunday in West Sacramento. After trailing, Butler's homer gave the A's the lead, followed by Gelof's long ball later in the game. Tommy White also hit his first major league homer. Jacob Lopez secured his first win in four starts, allowing two runs in six innings. The A's claimed their first home series victory since June and will next face the Kansas City Royals, while the Rangers will host the Washington Nationals starting Tuesday.
