Genesis confirms no IMSA GTP entry until at least 2028

Genesis will not participate in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for the 2027 season. Team Principal Cyril Abiteboul announced this update ahead of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where the GMR-001 LMDh machine will make its debut. Abiteboul stated that discussions are now focused on a 2028 entry instead. This decision comes as the team prepares for the prestigious endurance race this weekend.
